WiFi and Ethernet Issues

Hey all,

Has anyone experienced severe WiFi and Ethernet connectivity issues on a P3301 before?

As an aside - This Poynt is new to me. I do have some experience with another P3301 on a different MID, which has worked flawlessly for months since I set it up.

Earlier today, I went to setup this new to me P3301 on a new MID. Got it connected via Ethernet and it proceeded to take a software update. It is now running merchant-release-280, firmware PR M1 AC 2.3.0-2639. Since that update, I have had the below experiences.

Currently, device will connect, but not actually reach out to internet on multiple different 2.4 and 5GHz networks. Have tried with WPA2 and 802.1X, both unsuccessfully. All of the networks I have tried are definitely connected to the internet, confirmed via other devices. And before anyone asks, I have placed the terminal about 5 feet away from the respective access points when testing.

On the Ethernet front, it will not connect at all despite being docked. I found the Ethernet setting and made sure it was enabled. Have tried both DHCP and by setting a static IP. Have also tried disabling WiFi and only having Ethernet disabled to no avail. Have rebooted countless times as well in an attempt to see if that will help. Have hooked into directly into router at two different sites to test.

At this point, have probably spent 4 hours today trying to get it back onlineā€¦

Any thoughts?
