Why does my Items report not have any data?

I pulled an Items report, but it doesn’t have any data in it.

The Items report provides a list of items sold, per day, etc. However these items need to added to a catalog in order to process transactions using them. Terminal or Manual Entry apps allow you to simply enter in the amount of the transaction without picking the items. In order for the Items report to populate, you will need to transact using the Register app.
