Products in multiple categories/catalogues

Hi everybody

Is it posible for a merchant to include a single product into multiple categories or catalogues?

Also, can a single category be included into multiple catalogues?

Through catalogues API, I see there is also posibility for products to be attached directly to catalogues and not to categories. Is there anything special about those products (why they aren’t included into some category) or are they simply ‘uncategorized’?

Hi Ivan,

It is possible to include a single product into multiple categories and catalogues.

Different catalogs may have categories with the same name and shortCode but category ids will be different.

There is nothing special about products that are attached directly to the catalog. If a merchant sells 20 items or less they all can be displayed on the same screen in Poynt Register, so there is no reason to create categories.
