Market reach of an App submitted to the European Mission Control

Dear Poynt development team,

I have a question concerning the market reach of an App submitted to the European Mission Control (https://eu.poynt.net/mc/)…

Once the app is LIVE (e.g. App ID urn:aid:a4307a49-4694-48fc-ac24-719cf58d61bf) in the European MC, would it be available / reachable for all the merchants in Europe, independently of the merchant’s acquiring bank? Or is it up to the merchant’s acquiring bank to make the app available in the marketplace reachable by the Poynt device used by its merchant?

Hi Sergio,
The app visibility depends on both the region and approval from the acquirer.
An app submitted for IT will not show up in UK, Similarly if the app is rejected by an Acquirer then it will not be visible for merchants under the acquirer.
