Is there a Poynt App Store?

We are close to a release of our application for approval. Is the an App Store that will be used?

We are still not sure how to publish / deploy our application.

Sorry some how missed this post. There is no Poynt App Store yet. We are working on it currently. But meanwhile you can submit your application for review and testing through Poynt developer portal. Here is the url: https://poynt.net/terminalapps - please make sure you are logged in as developer into your developer organization to access this url.

I too am wondering if there is a list of apps? I am curious of what everyone is doing and see what standards are being used. Ps Praveen great to see you on here.

Hi there,

At the moment 3rd party apps are not available on developer units, but some of our app partners make their documentation publicly available. Here are a few of them:

  1. eHopper: https://ehoppersupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/202710108-POS
  2. Lightning Register: http://touchsuite.com/register/
  3. Apptizer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vdkps3y1_vg

You can see our app development guidelines at https://poynt.github.io/developer/ref/app-development-guidelines.html.

Are there any plans on making the 3rd party apps/store available on developer units? I’d like to use mine as a demo unit as well and it would be helpful if I could show a merchant what is all available.

I wanted to circle back to this post and see if there has been any progress made regarding the App Store availability to merchants? Possibly a projected ETA?

I am looking for the app store as well to see how the discovery process works…

Hello, please email the serial number of your devkit to devsupport@poynt.com and we can enable the Poynt Store (“Apps”) on your terminal. Please keep in mind that those are live apps, so if you sign up for a subscription your card will be billed.
