The Poynt Smart Terminal is PCI-PTS certified, including SRED , EMV L1 and L2 certified. The terminal encrypts cardholder data on the secure chip the moment it’s read. Due to its secure design, all apps running on the Poynt Smart Terminal are certified to be out-of-scope for PA-DSS by Coalfire. This ensures that a merchant PCI-DSS audit is very straight-forward, and offers additional proof of Poynt Smart Terminal’s good standing.
