Index out of bounds when trying to use payment fragment

I’m running into an exception trying to use a payment fragment in my application. The trace points to an IndexOutOfBounds indexing “element 8” exception within the payment parcel. Any thoughts as to what this could be? I took the code straight from the example for launching it.
