How does one enable Bluetooth on the Poynt device?
Does the bluetooth hardware support Bluetooth LE?
Regarding turning on the bluetooth:
Option 1: there’s a quick access button when you slide down the status bar and then scroll left all other shortcuts like Home, WiFi, Settings and so on.
Option 2: for more options, slide down the status bar -> Settings -> System and then you’re in the usual Android settings, Bluetooth is there as well.

We have already tried option 2, however it keeps turning itself back off.
Let us try option one. Not sure if my colleague had already done that.
Bluetooth is currently disabled at OS level due to PCI requirement. PCI requires BT4.2 for which we are still working with our bluetooth chip vendor. Once it’s ready - we plan to go through a PCI delta re-certification. We do not have any time line yet but it should be in the next couple of months.
