I have an issue with printing to an external printer (Epson Printer TM20ii). In the Poynt Accessory Manager the printer is shown with a green dot before the printer name and “Test printer” does print. However, when I print a settlement, the terminal print from built-in printer. I tried various settings to no avail. Please advise.
I believe in one of the settings, under Reciept printing preferences (I’m seeing this at home so can’t verify on terminal) that you have to choose what your specific preferences are regarding just what receipts to print and which printer to use. Simply choosing the external printer as your default in the peripheral menu won’t get the job done. Under receipt preferences you specify just what KIND of receipts you want printed out of WHICH printer. Keep looking for the menu.
