Cant Unlock device

I am unable to unlock my poynt device.Done all steps mentioned.

some time shows cold reset when fast boot protocol is executed.
device serial no:P61SWD055GS000393

I am confused, on Poynt Driver on Windows 8 your last message says it worked.

sorry @dennis for the confusion.
The previous issue that you mentioned was related to another device. This is a different device with serial number P61SWD055GS000393.

This device is locked and we are trying to unlock it following the same steps as we did with our other device
this device does not show device serial no when we issue “fastboot devices”

Hi there,
The procedure of enabling developer mode on any Poynt device is the same http://poynt.github.io/developer/tut/developer-mode.html. Unfortunately it’s a bit more involved on Windows than on Mac or Linux.
When you connect the device to your PC, does Windows Device Manager recognize it as a peripheral?
